The name comes from Morris Garages in Oxford, and for decades the light two-seat roadsters were built at the Abingdon works. Among enthusiasts the octagon badge stands for simple engineering, low weight and handling that rewards balance rather than outright power. The T-series cars, including the TD Midget and the TF, carry the classic pre-war silhouette with separate wings, while the MGA of the 1950s brought a far more modern body. The MGB became the marque's best seller and remains easy to own thanks to strong parts supply and an active club scene. From the 1990s came the mid-engined F Roadster and the later TF 135, still among the most accessible ways into the badge.
