Morgan Plus 4 from 1951 in very god condition!
This very car was sold new in Sweden in 1951 to an acknowledged painter named Gunnar Sjöström in Åselby on 31/12 1952. Deregistered from the car register in the late 50's. Re-registered in Sweden in 2006 where previous owners have completely renovated the car to its former glory.
In the late 40's, Morgan Car Company started building the Plus 4 model, it had a stronger chassis and longer wheelbase and the model also got hydraulic brakes. Morgan also chose to update the engine's capacity from 1.3L to a 2.1L machine that now produced 68 HP. The engine was manufactured by Standard Vanguard.
Equipment specification
Tonneau cover. The convertible struts are renovated but there is no convertible top. There are 2 window frames for the doors that need to be renovated. The chairs are covered in brown vinyl upholstery. The wheels are from the brand Dunlop Gold Seal 5,25-16.
Condition
The car's current condition is very good as previous owners have had the car completely renovated.
The interior is also in very good condition.
Mechanically, the car works very well. There is minor oil leakage in the engine.
Service history
Inspection documents from the registration inspection and inspection documents as well as an old registration certificate are available for the car.
Summary
