Few marques have cared less about fashion. The body frame is still made of ash, the front end has kept its sliding-pillar suspension since the early 1900s, and the shape of a 4/4 stays recognisable almost regardless of the year. The three-wheelers came first; the four-wheeled 4/4 arrived in the 1930s, followed by the Plus 4 with more muscle and later the Plus 8 with Rover's V8, the car that gave Morgan its reputation for being fast and slightly untamed. The 2000s brought the Aero 8 and a revival of three-wheeler production.
