Basic information and History

Volvo 240, one of Volvo's most popular, recognized and nowadays also sought-after models. A wear-and-tear from Torslanda with a build quality that few can match and which can still be used today for everyday use or pleasure driving. The model has started to gain real cult status on the market and you still see many on the roads thanks to a large availability of spare parts.

This is a Swedish-sold car with just under 160000 km, few owners and a good history. Delivered in 1988 to the first owner and has had only 5 owners since then, the last two of which belonged to the same family. The last 3 owners have only used it in the summer months and driven a couple of hundred km with it per year.

Condition

Exterior: The seller says that the car is in excellent condition for its age with a few minor remarks, i.a. on left front fender where there is a small spot which is believed to be a small damage after a battery change, as well as the lower strip on the right back which was previously loose. Underneath, the car is tektylated/anti-rust treated, nothing is rusted and presents itself very well! Interior: The interior appears to be in very good condition with no complaints except for a small crack in the dashboard. The car has been covered for a long time, which has now been removed for the sake of the sale. The seller wishes that all functions and gauges work as they should. Mechanics: The car runs very well in both engine and drivetrain and always starts immediately. Last documented service was 2022/04 and included i.a. cam belt change, spark plugs, oil change and all filters. Inspected without remarks 2022/04 and the car has only driven about 200 km since then.
