Basic information and history
The Fisker Karma was presented as a production car in 2011 and was one of the first attempts to combine plug-in hybrid technology with a full-scale luxury sedan. The design was created by Henrik Fisker, who had previously designed, among other things, the BMW Z8 and Aston Martin DB9.
The design language with the long bonnet, short overhangs and low roofline gave the Karma proportions that few other four-door cars could match at the time. Production took place at Valmet Automotive in Uusikaupunki, Finland, and just over 2,000 units were built in total before Fisker Automotive went bankrupt in 2013. This makes the Karma an unusual car, not least in Sweden.
Technically, the Karma is built on an aluminium spaceframe with a series hybrid powertrain, where a turbocharged four-cylinder two-litre engine from GM acts as a generator, while propulsion is handled by two electric motors at the rear axle. System output is around 403 horsepower and torque is stated at approximately 1,300 Nm. The lithium-ion battery of just over 20 kWh from A123 Systems provides an electric range of around 50 kilometres, after which the combustion engine takes over as a range extender. The driver chooses between Stealth, where the car prioritises electric drive, and Sport, where the combustion engine contributes for maximum performance. The roof is fitted with solar cells that contribute to the climate system and the twelve-volt system, a detail that made the Karma unique at launch.
This example is a 2012 Fisker Karma that has been sold new in Sweden and has covered 23,600 kilometres, a mileage guaranteed by the seller. The car has had a total of eight owners, of which four were users, and is in original condition according to the seller. There is no loan on the vehicle and no deductible VAT.
Equipment and options
The Fisker Karma was consistently well equipped, and the following is part of the known standard specification for the model:

- Lithium-ion battery of just over 20 kWh with the ability to charge via the grid
- Stealth and Sport driving modes via paddles behind the steering wheel
- Sunroof with integrated solar cells
- 22-inch alloy wheels
- Touchscreen-based infotainment system with navigation and reversing camera
- Climate control
- Audio and media system
- Keyless system
The car is stated to be in original condition and the seller has not indicated any modifications or aftermarket equipment.

The climate system, audio and media system, and other electronics are stated to be functioning, as are the trip meter and all seatbelts. The dashboard is free of warning lights.

Mechanics and function: The engine, gearbox and brakes are all stated to be in excellent condition. The engine starts and runs faultlessly according to the seller, and the car can be driven as it stands. The vehicle has passed inspection, most recently carried out on 12 November 2025.
Service history
The car is stated to be fully serviced. The service history is documented with receipts and documentation that accompany the vehicle, giving the buyer the opportunity to follow the maintenance over the years.
Summary
This is a Sweden-sold 2012 Fisker Karma in original condition with a guaranteed mileage of 23,600 kilometres and only four users. The paintwork, body, interior and powertrain are described by the seller as being in excellent condition, the car is fully serviced with documented history and passed inspection in November 2025. With limited production, era-typical but in many respects forward-thinking hybrid technology, and Henrik Fisker's design, the Karma is a car that rarely appears on the Swedish market, and this example offers an opportunity for anyone seeking a collectible plug-in hybrid with low mileage.
