The BMW E36 was presented in the autumn of 1990 as the successor to the successful E30 and represented a clear step forward for the 3 Series, with a new Z-axle rear suspension, a more streamlined body and a more modern interior concept. The 320i was at this time the entry-level model among the six-cylinder E36s and was powered by the two-litre straight-six M50 with 24 valves and double overhead camshafts, an engine known for its smooth running and durability. As a 1992 model, this car belongs to the early production, from before VANOS was introduced on the M50 engine.

This 1992 BMW 320i Sedan was imported from Germany to Sweden in 2000. Mechanics and function: The engine is described as being in excellent condition and is said to start and run flawlessly. The gearbox shifts flawlessly and is likewise stated to be in excellent condition, which also applies to the brakes. The car can be driven as it stands and has passed inspection, most recently carried out on 2025-05-26.
