Basic information and history
2001 marked one of the most exclusive years for the Jaguar XKR, when the special Silverstone model was produced to celebrate Jaguar's return to Formula 1. Only 558 examples were built in total, making this variant particularly sought after. The Jaguar XKR Silverstone is characterised by its unique Silverstone silver paint, 20-inch BBS wheels and special interior details.
This car was imported from the USA in 2017 and has had a total of three users including the current owner in Sweden. The odometer reading is 99,500 km (62,100 miles) and this can be guaranteed. The car was chosen by the current owner primarily for its design and charisma.
The Jaguar XKR Silverstone rarely comes up for sale and this example is a rare opportunity to own a true collector's item.

Condition
Body and exterior condition: The paint is in very good condition with only a few scratches. The left front fender has been replaced and painted after minor parking damage where the car was backed into while stationary. Chrome, moldings, headlight lenses and emblems are in good condition. There is some small stone chipping on the windshield, but nothing serious. See pictures!
Interior: Good condition of leather and stitching. The dashboard has a small crack and the cup holder opens a little too easily, but otherwise the interior is nice and with only minimal wear. The headliner is in good condition and the controls and buttons are considered to be intact and functioning well. See pictures!
Tires and rims: The tires are in good condition with about 5 mm of tread remaining. Original BBS rims for Silverstone are fitted.
Mechanical and Functionality: Engine, gearbox, brakes and driveline are all in good condition, according to the owner. No known mechanical defects reported.
Service history
According to the seller, the car has been serviced when necessary at JaguarLars in Långåker, but the mileage in recent years has been low (only 8,000 km since 2017) and there are no service records or service books for the car. Documented service history is missing. The car's last approved inspection was July 15, 2025.
Summary
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a Jaguar XKR Silverstone 2001 in good working order – a car with an exclusive background and strong collector potential. The condition is generally very good both exterior and interior, and the car exudes classic Jaguar with modern performance. The lack of documented service is offset by the car's generally good condition and limited mileage. For those looking for something unique among cabs, this XKR Silverstone offers a good combination of performance, tradition, design and a low production run.
