Basic information and history
The BMW 525i Touring from the E34 series is one of the most aesthetically pleasing estate cars ever built. The combination of classic 90s design, German long-distance comfort, manual transmission and the well-known M50 straight-six evokes warm feelings among car enthusiasts. The practical user-friendliness of the Touring body and the balanced chassis together with the fine steering feel result in a car that can both handle a holiday trip and can lick strips of asphalt without making a fuss.
This 525i Touring has been given the Outlaw designation after an extensive performance conversion, complete with turbo and upgrades to the brakes and chassis. The car is SFRO approved and registration inspected and is cleared by the Swedish Transportation Authority.
The car is Swedish-sold and has had a total of 19 owners, divided between dealers and users. When the 525i Touring Outlaw was purchased by the current owner, it was not registered with the conversion and according to the seller, the focus has been to complete the car correctly according to the current regulations for converted vehicles. The car has undergone the SFRO process, then an inspection at Testa and a registration and control inspection with approved results. It is registered with a swapped engine and an output of 333 kW, 453 hp.
