Basic information and history

For the car enthusiast looking for that little something extra: here is a 1992 BMW 325i Coupé (E36) with a uniquely documented history and character. BMW's E36 series is known for its modern technology, classic rear-wheel drive and elegant coupé shape – and this example is also refined from the start.

The car was imported from Germany by its first Swedish owner, who bought it directly from the original owner. But before delivery, the car was made even more special: instead of going directly to the customer, it was first driven to Breyton , one of the most classic German tuning companies from the 90s. There it received a complete and very discreet spoiler package and Breyton rims – an extremely rare and sought-after original option that makes the car unique. There are hardly any pictures or documentation left online about this particular package.

The car has had a total of four users , with a full history known to the current owner. We have owned the car ourselves on two occasions, which underlines how much this example is appreciated. Between our ownership periods the car was mostly in the garage of an enthusiast and has only been driven 148,000 km since new.

The color is the stylish Calypso red , and the car is equipped with several well-chosen options (see below). There is no typical E36 on Swedish roads that looks like this one – here you get the chance to own a piece of both BMW's and tuning culture's history .

Equipment and options

  1. M Sport leather steering wheel
  2. Power-operated tilt/up-sliding sunroof
  3. Velour carpets
  4. Warning triangle & first aid kit
  5. Non-smoking package
  6. Driver/passenger seat heating
  7. HiFi speaker system
  8. Outdoor temperature gauge
  9. Calypso root body color
  10. Alarm installation
  11. Heated and lockable driver's exterior mirror
  12. Extra turn signals

Modifications and improvements:

The discreet and extremely unusual Breyton spoiler package with accompanying Breyton rims was installed immediately after delivery in Germany – this is not an aftermarket build but part of the car’s genuine history. The interior has been refined with a black Alcantara headliner , to match the sporty expression.

Condition

Body and exterior: Very good condition with a luster in the paint, no notable scratches or damage other than a minor scratch at the bottom of the front spoiler (see detailed pictures). The car has been partially repainted on the hood, front spoiler and front fenders due to stone chips - the work is professionally done. The windows have normal wear, but are free of notable wear or damage. The chrome, moldings and emblems are generally very nice, however there is some wear on the rubber at the rear drop moldings.

Interior: Very good condition with no damage or scratches. The headliner is recently covered in black Alcantara and enhances the overall impression. Controls and buttons are fresh, except for a known pixel error on the trip computer (see pictures).

Tires and rims: The car is on new Kuhmo tires all around . The Breyton rims are in condition that matches the rest of the car's exterior.

Mechanics and function: The car runs very well, with a healthy and snappy sound from the straight six. New brakes were installed in 2021, no complaints about the gearbox or drivetrain. Engine serviced in 2024 and works excellently without any strangeness.

Service history

The service book is missing, but according to the previous owner, service has been carried out according to the manufacturer's intervals . The last oil and filter change was made in 2024. All inspection records from the car's Swedish time are saved, as well as some receipts for maintenance performed. The documentation from the car's time in Germany is no longer available (disappeared under the first Swedish owner).

The car will be inspected during week 29, 2025. In summary, a well-maintained 90s classic with known ownership history and saved documentation from its time in Sweden.

Summary

Anyone looking for a truly special BMW E36 325i Coupé should not miss this unique example. With its Breyton package from recent, rare history and only four known owners , it offers an unbeatable combination of collector's value, classic design and pure driving pleasure - perfect for both the connoisseur and the active enthusiast.

The fact that the car has been owned by the current seller on two occasions says it all: this is an exceptionally well-preserved and cared for example that deserves an equally passionate next owner. Take the chance to acquire a piece of E36 history with roots in the German tuning culture of the 90s – it doesn't get more unique than this!
