Basic information and history

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1973 – an icon among American sports cars and a must for every true enthusiast! This example was imported from the USA and has had only one owner in Sweden since 2016. Upon import, an extensive full renovation was carried out where the body was lifted off and all wear parts were replaced. The same year, the car was repainted from yellow to its current color by a professional paint company in Helsingborg. The odometer reading is 10,978 km (probably after renovation).

The current owner is selling the car due to health reasons. The car has always been stored in a heated garage and has been carefully maintained. Also included is a CD with pictures from the renovation for those who want to learn about the car's history.

Modifications and improvements: The car is greatly improved from both a mechanical and visual point of view. The engine is seriously built and has been benched to reach high power figures. The heater is currently disconnected due to a minor leak on a hose. Externally, the hood has been modified for larger air intakes. Other renovations include the replacement of all wear parts.

Condition

Body and exterior: The body is in very good condition thanks to extensive renovation and repainting 8 years ago. The paint is of high quality, only a minor cosmetic defect can be found at the right front of the hood (from the filling work). The chrome, moldings, headlight lenses and emblems are fine. The windows are intact and fresh.

Interior: The interior is in good condition with no damage to the seats, dashboard or other surfaces. However, the seat belt light is on even when the seat belt is fastened, otherwise everything is in good condition. The headliner, controls, buttons and steering wheel look good.

Tires and rims: Installed tires have 7–8 mm tread depth and are in good condition.

Mechanics and function: The engine runs excellently thanks to regular maintenance and a refurbished machine. Oil changes and valve adjustments are done annually before the summer season. The car has always been in a heated garage. Brakes are fully functional considering its age. Gearbox and driveline work as they should. The heating system is out of order (leak at hose) and disconnected.

Service history

Service and maintenance: The last service was carried out four months ago. Before each summer, the oil has been changed and the valves adjusted. Regular checks and updates of the mechanics have been carried out. No service records or receipts remain, but the car has always been well taken care of.

Inspection: The car has been inspected and approved no later than 2023 and is now exempt from continued inspection according to current legislation for older vehicles.
