Basic information and history
1969 Chevrolet Corvette – an American muscle car icon that offers both classic design and modern performance! The car is imported from the USA and was brought to Sweden a few years ago, where it was newly registered and given a Swedish license plate. The seller traded in two vintage cars to get this particular Corvette, largely thanks to the expensive and professionally executed engine build. Driving the car – especially with the cab down – is an experience beyond the ordinary, where every overtaking and city driving creates joy. The odometer shows 120 km (probably after renovation, as the car has had the engine and instruments changed).
Previous users in Sweden are unknown, as the car was imported and purchased through a muscle car dealer. In other words, this is a piece of American automotive history in powerful, modern condition that is also exempt from inspection here in Sweden.

The car is greatly improved compared to the original with a modern LS2 V8 that has been mapped and adjusted by a specialist workshop for over 20,000 SEK, as well as improved cooling, fuel system and brakes to meet the high performance requirements. All work is done by professionals with receipts for most of it being done in Sweden. Sharper cam gives both more power and a characteristic sound.
Condition
Body and exterior condition:
The paint is in very good used condition. Some superficial scratches from washing that can probably be polished up, and a small superficial crack/paint peeling in some places (seen in pictures). Minor fiberglass damage on the left door. No rust or damage. Chrome, moldings, headlight lenses and emblems in very good condition without major damage or dents - normal age-related wear on the chrome, but overall very nice.
Glass:
All windows are in very good condition without damage or scratches.
Tires and rims:
The car is on new wide tires and rims of a modern model - in very good condition.
Interior:
The seats are flawless and not worn, the carpets and door sides are in very good condition. No dry cracks in the doors or dashboard. The targa roof is very easy to handle and is stored smartly in the trunk. The steering wheel, controls and buttons are also in very good condition - only the windshield wipers do not work (motor/pump not connected), but the lighting, horn, hazard warning lights, electric windows, seat belts and retractable headlights work as they should. The radio is there but the speakers are not connected.
Mechanics and function:
The engine is built for performance and has been serviced at several workshops; new fuel pump, brake servo and full mapping. The engine is reliable and responsive, optimal for both cruising and heavy acceleration. The brake system is new and extra expensive. The 3-speed TH400 automatic works without complaint in both automatic and manual mode. The car is generally well-maintained and exempt from inspection.
Service history
During its time in Sweden, the car has been serviced and improved at authorized workshops, where both service and optimization and upgrades have been carried out - the most recent service carried out in spring 2025 at Lonestar AB/Autoexperten, and in 2023 at Mollton cars in Hallstavik. It comes with both service receipts and history of the work carried out in Sweden. A lot of paper is available on work carried out and purchases here at home.
The engine is professionally tuned and mapped, and all service is carried out regularly. The car is newly registered and exempt from inspection in the future, which means you do not have to undergo recurring inspections.

Hej! Jag är lite dålig på motorer så jag kan inte ge dig superbra svar, tyvärr. Men motorn skall vara en -08 av det jag fått till mig. Vet inte om växellådan är nyare/äldre. Det är iaf en 3-stegad TH400 som det står i annonsen. Vet inget om elsystemet.

1- Ar kaross mot chassi bussningarna, de 8+1 , bytta?
2- Rost i nedre delen av buren (Cage!) vid chassi bussning #3 (raknat fran bak) under A-stolpen. C3 Corvette ar extra kanslig for rost i det omradet pga regn ( rinner in) . Vet du skicket pa det stallet ( bada hoger + vanster)?
