Basic Information and History

Have you ever dreamed of owning a car that combines classic American style with a unique craftsmanship story? This 1934 Duesenberg Roadster/StreetRod Replica is much more than just a copy – it’s a masterpiece built by hand, carrying stories few other vehicles can match. Built on a 1965 Impala chassis with a GM 350 V8 and automatic transmission under the hood, this is the car that turns heads wherever it goes.

The vehicle was manufactured in the Philippines, where the first owner provided a model of the 1934 Duesenberg Roadster to a workshop that then hand-formed the entire car from sheet metal. The process took about a year to complete and was documented with photos during construction.

The current owner has taken the project further, converting the car into a StreetRod with a convertible body and adding more modern details. History tells us that icons such as Gary Cooper and Clark Gable raced their own modified Duesenbergs – perhaps now you have the chance to experience the same feeling!

Unique to this example is also an included Sprite 400 trailer (not inspected in recent years) with newly sewn cushions. Photos from the build are available, adding an extra layer of authenticity for the collector or enthusiast.

Condition

Body and Exterior: The paint has cracked and the car deserves a full repaint. No major rust issues, only light surface rust on the chrome. No dents or deep damage, but the finish and chrome details need refreshing.

Interior: Very good condition! The seat has been reupholstered in gold (no damage found), and the interior has been significantly upgraded. Door panels and entry trims are damage-free but could use some care.

Tires and Wheels: Brand-new tires (spring 2025). Chrome wheels with no damage.

Mechanics and Function: The engine is in good condition, well-serviced with new distributor, spark plugs, and carburetor. Braking system upgraded with a new master cylinder. Transmission and rear axle work flawlessly.

Although no service book is available, all maintenance has been performed according to manufacturer intervals, and the owner guarantees its condition and upkeep. No previous receipts or reports are available, but photographic documentation from the build is included. No inspection required as the model year is exempt.
