Basic information and history
Domestically sold Volvo P1800 from 1961, which has spent a large part of its life on the island of Gotland. Total distance on the odometer is 57066km but it is unclear if the meter has ran a lap or not. According to the register, the car has had a total of 9 owners over the years. How many of these are users versus companies cannot be ascertained. However, the car has been signed by Pelle Petterson, who is the designer behind the P1800! The car comes in a usable condition, having been refurbished at some point in the past, although to an unknown extent.

Equipped with 1.8-liter B18B of approx. 90hp/140nm mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive.
Condition
The current owner describes the car as in usable condition with some rust in body joints. The car has been renovated and repainted by the previous owner, but the extent is unfortunately unknown. Repairs to damage to the floor and beams were carried out in March 2024. Some minor paint damage has been repaired this year. The car has also received a recond and paint treatment in March 2024. Glass windows are described as in normal condition considering the age of the car. Chrome, moldings and headlight glass have blemishes but nothing abnormal or in need of fixing. The rims are in good used condition but one hub cap has a small dent. The tires fitted are brand new.
The interior is described by the owner as quite worn. Upholstery is cracked on the driver's seat. Door panels and door sills come with wear. Instrument panel has various dry cracks. Inner ceiling has yellowed over the years. Steering wheel, buttons and controls have normal age wear. Tachometer and temp gauge are unfortunately out of order. The tachometer doesn’t work.
The oil and water temperature gauges are not functioning.
The speedometer is a bit erratic.
The overdrive is not working.
Engine is described by current owner as in good condition. Gearbox and driveline in OK condition with refurbished clutch and cylinders and wires replaced. The brakes have new brake shoes, cylinders and rear brake drums. The front forks are new, also the hoses and master cylinder have been refurbished. Mechanically, everything works as it should.

Service history
After a lot of years parked away, Helins Motorsport in Tibro went through the car and lightly renovated the car to its usable condition. Service history is missing, but the car is today ready to hit the roads again. Last inspection was carried out on 2024.03.22.

Domestically sold classic in used condition that can be perfect as a luxurious wear-and-tear alternative to and from the beach and the ice cream parlor during the summer or as a rolling project!
