Amazing 1955 Mercury Montclair restored to show condition. In Sweden, the car has only had one owner. Imported from Canada to Sweden in 2021 and previously had its home in the States. In the 1950s, the Mercury Montclair was by far the most luxurious wagon you could buy from the Ford Group. The car has been painted in Yukon Yellow with Tuxedo Black interior.

Equipped with a 292cui Y-block (4.8 litres) V8 mated to a 3-speed Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.

The body has been completely renovated and repainted to an exhibition condition. Nothing has been left in the renovation. The chrome is in top condition and the car is of course stainless. The paint is described by the current owner as being in very good condition, and we can only agree. Lanterns, windows, details and other things are without remark.

The interior is in as good condition as the rest of the car. Clad in fantastic patterned material that matches the car's yellow paint job. Steering wheel, instruments, controls and gear lever are all in good condition and without any remarks. All electronics work as intended.

The engine has been renovated in connection with other renovations and under the hood it is extremely neat and tidy. Engine, drivetrain, gearbox and brakes are all described as being in very good condition.

Last service was performed in 2023 with oil, filter and more.

The most luxurious convertible of the 1950s that the Ford Group offered on the market. The car has been completely renovated and would look fantastic on our roads this summer!
