Nürburgring Hit and Run – Is it even possible?
Jacob and his equally car-crazy friend Petter decided to take on a pretty crazy project. A 28-year-old, fairly worn-out Porsche 996 with a roll cage, bucket seats and a clear trackday focus was to be driven from Stockholm to the Nürburgring. Just over 1,600 miles down. There, a lap awaited in the hands of Misha Charoudin – a recognized idiot, racing driver and the man who is not exactly known for holding back. Then the car, and hopefully the crew, would make it all the way home again. Total: just over 3000 miles in just over three days. Is it possible with an old 996 that has lived a pretty hard life?
