Oldsmobile
Oldsmobile is one of America's oldest car marques, and Bidders Highway is where you'll find an Oldsmobile for sale at auction, or can consign your own. Founded in 1897 by Ransom E. Olds, the division became General Motors' engineering-minded middle brand, remembered for the Hydra-Matic automatic and for the Rocket V8 introduced in 1949.

Collector interest centres on the 1950s and 1960s. Super 88 and Dynamic 88 carry the early Rocket flavour, the Cutlass and 442 belong to the muscle car years, and the 1966 Toronado brought front-wheel drive to a full-size American coupe. Ninety-Eight and Delta 88 are relaxed highway cars with plenty of chrome, while the Vista Cruiser and its raised skylight roof remain among the most distinctive wagons of the era. Pre-war cars and later Cutlass generations turn up too; production continued until 2004.
