The Oldsmobile Delta 88 represents American style and decadence from 1970s Detroit. There are superficial rust spots on the lower edges of the doors and fenders but no serious or widespread rust is found. The chrome and moldings are in good condition with superficial spots but otherwise fine. The headlight lenses and emblems are complete and intact. The windows have no stone chips but a minor scratch.

Interior: The interior is well preserved and nice. The vinyl seats are intact and comfortable, the door sides are intact but the floor mats have some sun fading. The driver's door handle is discolored. Controls and buttons work as they should without defects. The black roof of the convertible top is in good condition without damage.

Tires and rims: All tires have good tread depth and are of the correct dimension with white sides.

Mechanics and function: The engine starts easily and runs smoothly with a familiar, deep V8 rumble. The brakes engage evenly and without complaint. The gearbox shifts smoothly and the drivetrain is free of noise. All electrical functions have been tested and work.

Service history

The last service was in 2025 when a new muffler was installed. In 2023, an oil change, filter change and spark plug change were performed at Nifsta Classic. The car was inspected on 2025-09-05 without any complaints and is now exempt from inspection. No documented service records remain or are included, but the condition of the car indicates that it has been properly cared for.
