Volvo P1800 V8 Restomod 1966 – Elmia-Awarded Icon with a BMW Heart
Basic Information and History
This 1966 Volvo P1800 is far from your average classic. Following an extensive restomod transformation, it now stands as a unique and award-winning vehicle, equipped with a BMW drivetrain and interior. After the build, the car was owned by automotive personality Bobo “BilTokig,” before being sold via Kaiser Classic, where the current owner acquired it about a year ago.
The car received the Jury’s Award in Hall A at the 2025 Elmia Custom Motor Show, highlighting its exceptional build quality and striking presence. It is now inspection-exempt and ready to be enjoyed by a new enthusiast.
