The year is 1978 and the Porsche 928 is crowned CAR OF THE YEAR by motoring journalists worldwide! Innovative grand tourer in the form of a 2+2 seater, destined to be the successor for the 911. Today, we know that the 911 is one of the world's absolute most useful sports cars and comes with an enormous cult status, but the 928 is not to be underestimated as it one of the best GTs of its time. The 300-horse V8 of 4.7 liters together with a 5-speed gearbox and contemporary pop-up lights, plenty of space, comfort and luxury is the recipe for a perfect GT wagon! That the model was built under 18 years testifies to a top-tier vehicle!

This solid blue 928S with approx. 108.000km is an excellent example to enjoy in its current state or as a rolling project for the summer of '24.
Equipment & specification
The S model was updated with bigger brakes, wider rims covered in thicker rubber, front and rear spoiler along with various internal engine upgrades. In terms of equipment, we find electric chairs in blue leather, sunroof, electric lifts, period-typical compartment for cassette tapes and more.
Condition
The exterior of the car looks good but has the potential to be top class with some work. There is, among other things, wear on moldings, stone chips, marks, cracks and small scratches in the paint, paint chips at the antenna and a crack in the rear lamp glass. The seller states that rust is present, but not to a great extent. The car's original rims have minor bubbles around the center but could be nice with a simple repaint. The tire's tread depth is measured at approx. 7 mm. The pop-up light works as intended. With a little love and work, this could be a nice GT wagon with low mileage.

Interior-wise there are traces from time, including worn leather around the gear lever, some marks and scratches on the door sides, the seats and other parts. The dashboard and panel are said to be in good condition according to the seller, however the panel lighting and the needle on the fuel gauge plays.

Ingvar57 Bilen har bara fotats där, och i min ägo aldrig varit på bana el liknade. Så märken av gummi är gammalt.
Hej, finns sammanställning av service dokumentation? När är senaste service på kam och balansaxel? Fungerar all el, ac mm? MvhFredrik
Autobarn Hej Jag tror att bilen har varit stående dom senast ca 10 åren innan min ägo så vet inte hur det är med balansaxel. Men jag har bytt kam och vatten pump, olja, huvud och slavcylinder i koppling, samt en renspolning av kylsystem och kylare i sommars. Av elen så fungerar allt det så vitt jag vet, kan finnas något glapp i instrumentpanelen då bränslenålen inte alltid fungerar.

Aoutobarn Jag har ett gammalt servis protokoll från Porsche då den gått ca 8000mil i övrigt har jag inget. Jag är inte så säker på att det är någon AC? Så kan inte säga om den isf fungerar, men det går att justera svalt och varmt
