Basic information and History

Porsche 911 Targa from 1972 modified and converted into a convertible. The car was imported from Los Angeles, USA in 1990. The current odometer reads 75,929 km. According to the current owner, meter reading can be guaranteed. Current owner has had the car since 2007 and bought it from a friend. Previous owner bought the car in 1995.

Equipped with a boxer six of 2.3 liters and approx. 130hp/200nm coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

Condition

The body is described by the current owner as being in good condition. Renovation has been carried out and the car was completely painted at Frebo Lack. New battery mount is welded in. The car is described as rust-free and the paint has only a few stone chips. New windshield was installed in 2023. The convertible has a minor damage to the fabric but is otherwise fine and sits where it should. Installation is done by saddlers.

The interior of the car has been renovated by saddle makers. Chairs in good condition. Slide rails have been installed on the chairs. The inner door on the driver's side has dirt on it. Buttons and controls in good condition. There is damage to the material between the instruments. Slightly newer stereo installed as well as an older charming equalizer from Clarion. The left window lifter does not work as the cable is pinched and the fuse blows.

Engine is described as being in good condition and used approx. 3000km since the renovation. Gearbox went through at the same time as engine renovation was carried out. Brakes have been changed all around as well as the master brake cylinder. This was carried out at the same time as the engine overhaul. Mechanically, the car works well and as intended.

Service history

At the last service, the car had its oil and filter changed. The clutch pedal was greased up. Last inspection took place on 2020-05-29.

    Är motorn renoverad i egen regi eller av firma? Vad gjordes vid renovering?

    Motorn renoverades ganska omgående efter jag köpt bilen av den anledningen /p.g.a. att Bildt stått i garage i 8-9 år.Gjordes på bilverkstad.
