Pontiac GTO - Motor Trends' choice for car of the year 1968 is a recognized American muscle car that is highly sought after in the collector's world. This is a 1967 model which was the year the model received some minor updates in both appearance and driveline. It was, among other things, the first year for the 400ci engine which was also available as “HO” (High Output ”) and also disc brakes, which this object both holds. This Swedish-sold copy is in a fantastic condition and has a well-documented history.
Equipment
Painted in the original color with a fantastic un-renovated interior, black floor mat and original instrument panel. A modern "Classic" radio is fitted with original radio included. It also comes with a large amount of original parts and spare parts. The heart of the car is a modified 400ci engine which is now a 495ci dyno'd to over 560hp at the crank! The TH400 gearbox and rear axle are also prepped for the larger engine. It is worth mentioning that the original matching numbers engine and the gearbox, which have also been gone through, are included in the purchase, as well as the rear axle and a large number of other parts (see photos). Condition:
Exterior: Fully painted in the original color and of course rust free body. On the whole, the car is in fantastic condition and has only a few minor blemishes in the paint that are documented in the pictures.
Interior. Really nice original interior in black with complete and clean floor mat, instrument panel and seats in black, fresh headliner and a really nice wooden steering wheel (original steering wheel included). Instrument panel and gauges are original and in a fresh condition with a lovely patina!

Dyno'd to 560hp at the crank and of course paired with a prepped TH400 gearbox and upgraded rear axle. There is no service book but as the documentation shows, the car is very well taken care of with regular maintenance! The car is both tax and inspection free.
