2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK 320

Mercedes-Benz SLK 320 from 2001 which has only driven 102084km. The seller can guarantee the mileage. The car was privately imported from Japan in 2014 by the first owner who bought the car on March 13, 2001. The car was a gift to the man's wife who became pregnant and could not drive the car and then chose to sell it. The current owner bought the car from the Japanese first owner and is thus the second owner of the car. The car is left-hand drive and manufactured in Germany, although it was sold in Japan.

Equipped with a 3.2-liter V6 of approx. 220hp/310nm connected to a 5-speed automatic transmission. According to the paper, performance is approx. 7 seconds to 100 km/h and a top speed of approx. 240km/h.

Equipped with, among other things, a 5-speed automatic transmission, leather seats with electric adjustment and heating, cruise control, A/C, automatic dimming of mirrors and factory-fitted AMG styling. The car came originally with a special version of navigation. Navin did not work in Sweden because other network and was therefore dismantled at the company. The condition of the bodywork is described by the current owner as almost flawless. The car is stainless. No modifications have been made to the body. There are a couple of minor remarks that the owner raises, including a barely visible dent on the right side. The dent is visible when the light falls just right. The paint is not damaged on or around the dent. A small amount of stone chips and wash scratches are on the vehicle, but nothing protruding badly. The left door and tailgate have been repainted at a professional company as there were minor marks in both places. Glass panes are in good condition with no visible damage. Emblem on bonnet is shiny and flawless but looks to have been the blue variant. The front left lamp glass is slightly dull but can easily be polished again. The AMG rims are in good condition, but there are minor scratches and marks from e.g. parking. The tires fitted last for one more season but should be changed before the next inspection.

The general condition of the interior is described as nicely used condition. The remarks we find include scratches on the glove box and some paint wear on the door handles. The seats and door sides are in good condition and have coped well with the wear and tear that usually occurs when stepping in and out. Usual smaller marks are on the side support of the driver's seat. Instrument panel, buttons, controls and steering wheel are in good condition. The inner ceiling of the cab is very nice. All electronics in the passenger compartment work as they should.

Engine is described by the current owner as faultless. No modifications have been made. Gearbox and drivetrain are described as new with no noise. Brakes work well and are squeak-free.

In the service book there are stamps from 32,118 km until the last service from 2023, which was performed at 101,558 km. Oils and filters were then changed at Bildelsimporten. There are two service occasions performed in Japan. The last inspection was carried out on 2023 06 12 without any remarks.

A very nice example of the R170 body. Plus is that the car was owned by a person in Japan, people known for thoroughness and care of their vehicles. Left-hand drive with automatic transmission and V6 is perfect for comfortable long trips that can also offer inspiring driving!
