Nitram
Halmstad

Basic information and History

Kawazaki ZXR750 H1, the motorcycle that made the performance bike available to the masses and later came to coin the term Ninja in the world of bikes. This domestically sold Kawazaki from 1989 comes in a nice condition and has only driven 45219km according to the odometer. A meter reading that can be guaranteed by the owner. In total, the bike has had 14 users, but despite that, a large amount of documentation comes with it, including receipts and other things from the early 90s.

  • 1989 Kawazaki ZXR 750 H1 in good condition with approx. 45219km on the odometer
  • Time-correct colouring scheme that screams super bike
  • The motorcycle that coined the term "Ninja"

Equipped with 749cc four-stroke engine of approx. 103hp/135nm connected to a six-speed gearbox. The standing quarter mile can be done in 11.5 seconds and the top speed is stated at approx. 245km/h. Just enough performance to be fully usable, even on the street, but above all on small winding roads!

Equipment and Options

The motorcycle has received contemporary Öhlins dampers at the rear and the windshield is aftermarket. Otherwise, a nice original bike. There is also an extra windshield included.

Condition

The current owner describes the motorcycle's overall impression as very good. There are some minor cracks and small cracks in the plastic which are probably due to age. Frame, swing and metal parts are described as being in good condition and with some patina in places. The motorcycle is otherwise free of damage and other boring things that need to be looked over. The glass pane is described as being in good condition. Lantern glass as well. The rims have become a little dull over the years and have a little scuffing here and there. However, they are the original rims and have not been repainted. The tires are described as having good tread depth with a few years on the neck.

The engine is described as being in very good condition. There are no noises in the drivetrain or gearbox. Both the rear and front gears and the chain are completely new. The brakes work as they should and are in good condition.

Service history

Gearing and chain as well as oil and filter were changed in the spring of 2024. Last inspection took place on 07/14/2023 with an approved result.

Summary

A real cult bike which, according to the current owner, is very amusing to drive! Very useful with adequate power that can be used in more places than a pure super bike with significantly more power. The icing on the cake is the typical and lovely colours that scream Kawazaki!
