Ford Mustang SVT Cobra in cabriolet version, model year 2003, imported already in 2004 from the USA. The car has spent most of its time in Sweden out on Gotland and is well documented. The car has driven 66,312 miles, which translates to approx. 106,718 km. Meter setting can be guaranteed. The car has had 3 previous users.

The Mustang comes with a 4.6-liter V8 supercharged by the Special Vehicle Team (SVT) and has an original output of approx. 400hp. The car has also had the software in the ECU replaced and reportedly has an output measured at 450 hp. You manage the gear changes yourself via a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Equipment and Options

Equipped with, among other things, electric mirrors and electric lifts, CD changer, A/C and cruise control on the steering wheel.

Condition

The car comes in a generally good condition and is described by the current owner as both damage and rust free. No modifications or repairs have been carried out on the bodywork. Free from door knocks, worse dents and worse scratches. Normal wear is of course present, such as washing scratches and stone chips. There are also a couple of marks in the front, on a rear fender, rear wing against the tailgate, inside the fuel cap and around one door. Nothing conspicuously bad and the mentioned marks can be seen in pictures. Glass panes and lamp glass are in good condition. The rims are free of damage but have minor scuff marks on them, and the tires are described as being in good condition.

The interior is described as being in very good condition. Door sides have coped very well with usual damage from e.g. stepping in and out. The driver's seat has minor wear and marks on the side support and dirt on the back, but otherwise fine. The back seat looks good but there is dirt in the leather. Seating surfaces in very good condition. Controls and buttons, instrumentation and dashboard are all in good condition. Steering wheel and gear lever as well.

Under the hood it looks nice and tidy with no signs of leaks. The engine condition is described by the current owner as good. Gearbox, drivetrain and brakes as well. Everything mechanically works as intended.

Service history

Last service was performed in 2022 with oil change and spark plugs. Last inspection took place in 2022. The service book is properly filled out and it includes documentation from the car's first days until today.

Summary

A sharp summer cab that offers sharp performance enough to scare passengers and fellow road users. A good copy that is in very good condition and also well documented.
