Basic information and History
These motorcycles were made as a tribute to the Ducati riders of the 70s who modified their street bikes with parts used on the racetracks such as clip-on handlebars and rear-mounted footpegs. The retro-race look is clear and examples from the Sport Classic series have become popular elements in collections for what they represent both in terms of heritage and relatively limited edition of approx. 2,000 copies.

This Swedish-sold copy with only 2 users was delivered to its first owner on 2007-06-02. The bike has only been driven 4.240 km, which the seller guarantees.


Equipment and Options
Extra equipped with windshield for more comfortable long drives. Termignoni power system fitted from the factory, the system passes the inspection with no problems and gives off a lovely engine sound.

All keys with key codes are included.

Condition
The bike is almost in new condition, there are minor remarks such as a small clear coat chip and a small stone chip on the tank. The seller has noted a small tear in the rubber on the throttle.
There are scratches noted on the exhaust system and a small dent on the exhaust system. The seller refers to the image material.

Otherwise, the motorcycle gives a very good impression.

Service history
The motorcycle is newly serviced which was carried out on 06/26/2023 by Italia bike center Ducati in Arboga. There, the timing belt was changed, regular service and completely new tires were fitted.
Immediately after the service was performed, the motorcycle went to the inspection where it passed without any complaints on 06/28/2023.

Summary
The Sport Classic series received a lot of attention when it was launched but above all has remained a very popular option with collectors. Just under 2000 GT1000s were produced, making it rare, and prices are on the rise. There is no doubt that this is an incredibly beautiful motorcycle in the eyes of most people.
