Basic Information and History
The Zündapp KS 750 is one of the most famous military motorcycles from the Second World War and was developed by Zündapp in Nuremberg based on a specification from the German army. The motorcycle was developed in parallel with the BMW R75, and the two models shared a large number of components to simplify spare parts supply in the field. The KS 750 was manufactured in just over 18,000 units between 1941 and 1944 and was designed from the ground up for sidecar use, featuring a driven sidecar wheel axle, a lockable differential, four forward gears and a reverse gear, as well as a separate off-road gear. The engine is an air-cooled four-stroke boxer of 751 cubic centimetres with overhead valves, producing about 26 horsepower and giving the motorcycle its characteristic smooth running. Driveshaft transmission and hydraulic brakes on the rear and sidecar wheels were advanced solutions for their time.
This Zündapp KS 750 from 1942 was not originally sold in Sweden but imported from Norway. The odometer reading is 15,000 kilometres, but the seller cannot guarantee that this reading is correct. The motorcycle is said to be in original condition. The vehicle is exempt from inspection.
