Basic Information & Background

The Chevrolet Chevelle is a recognized name among American muscle cars, and with the addition of "SS" it becomes even more desirable! This copy was imported in 2018 directly from the USA by the first owner here in Sweden, from whom the current owner also bought it, and has since undergone a thorough renovation to original spec and condition! Many parts have been kept in the renovation to keep it as original as possible and the result speaks for itself.

Condition

Exterior: The entire body, including doors, bonnet and trunk lid, are rust-treated, treated and painted in the original colour. All chrome parts were removed and refurbished. Original bumpers both front and rear were in very good condition and undamaged before the renovation. An undercarriage treatment has also been carried out in connection with the renovation and the original chassis was also crash- and damage-free before the renovation.

Interior. The interior of the car, including the roof, floor and seats, has been completely renovated to the original. Some parts were saved to keep the car's original condition, eg steering wheel, instrument panel and door panels. New carpets on the floor and luggage. One note is that there is a small crack above the instrument panel. Door moldings and luggage molding are new. Moldings on the body and windows are original.

Mechanical: Engine and box are original and matching numbers, they work flawlessly and the car runs fantastically well! Well looked after and also gently upgraded with Edelbrock intake manifold, Long tube Headers and Flowmaster muffler.

Service history

There is no service book for the car, but it has been serviced recently. Inspected 2021/08 without remarks and is now exempt from inspection. Exact mileage is unknown.
