Basic Information & BackgroundThe Chevrolet Camaro is without a doubt one of the most sought after and popular muscle cars ever, and this model is something out of the ordinary! 1967 is the first year for the model and was well received when it was launched in 1966. The model was available with both V8 and V6 engines and of course Coupé and Cabriolet. However, this Coupé has been updated to a completely different level and has the best combination of old-school design and modern technology. Imported to Sweden as early as 1976 with few owners and good history!EquipmentA really nice color combination in a dark red shade with newly renovated black interior. A modern and very powerful stereo is fitted and a plethora of meters from Autometer. The heart of the car is a brand new 6.2L Chevrolet LS3 crate engine with just under 1000km driven. A modern, powerful and very reliable V8 engine that has been in i.a. Camaro, Corvette and others. Paired with it is a new 4L60 automatic gearbox that gives both good performance but shifts really soft and nice. Just like the engine, it is also brand new and has only gone about 1000 km. The entire driveline and suspension have been updated with, among other things

ConditionExterior: Recently renovated with new 7-layer paint that has been wet sanded between the layers. Almost all chrome pieces are new original parts except for single pieces that could not be bought new. Completely rust free in, on and under body (see photos!). The American Racing rims are also in very good condition with almost new tires fitted.Interior. Really nice renovated interior in black with bucket seats, new floor mat, headliner and a contemporary sports steering wheel in wood. The autometer gauges give a slightly more modern and sportier feeling and fit very well as a whole with the remaining interior.Mechanically. Barely run in Chevrolet LS3 Crate engine with new 4L60 automatic transmission. There are no remarks or known errors.Service historyService book is not available due to the new driveline but is otherwise very well documented with receipts and history. The car is registrered with this engine and is now tax and inspection free.SummaryA dream combination of 60s design but with modern reliable technology. A really well-built car with only the best parts and who just longs to get out on the roads. An opportunity to acquire a completed, multi-year project that would cost much more today to build yourself.
