The fifth generation BMW 5 series was produced between 1987 and 1996. The estate was first sold in 1992. The E34 was designed by Ercole Spada under the guidance of BMW's chief designer Claus Luthe. The design is largely based on the then E32 7 series. Engine choices ranged from 4-cylinder engines all the way to a V8. This specimen was imported from Holland in 2015 and has since had 4 owners in Sweden. At the time of writing, the meter reading is approx. 295.000 km. The car comes with BMW's fantastic straight 6a, M50TUB20 of 2 liters, approx. 150hp/190nm connected to a 5-speed manual box and rear wheel drive.

Equipped with options such as shadowline package, A/C, servotronic steering and leather steering wheel.

The body has not undergone renovation or had worse damage. The paint is described by the owner as having scratch marks that have been touched up on the left front bumper and on the left front fender. Overall, the paint looks nice, especially considering the year and mileage. There are stone chips in the front of the car, on the window and scratches on the plastic spoiler. Incipient rust is present on parts of the undercarriage. Glass parts are described as being in good condition. Chrome, moldings and emblems are without remarks. The original rims have wear in the form of marks and scratches all around. The pattern depth is measured to approx. 6 mm.

The interior has, according to the current owner among other things, a tear in the driver's seat, the fabric has dropped in the roof, but that the panel and instrumentation are in good condition. The electronics in the car work as they should, except for the A/C which is currently not working. Door sides and steps have held up well over the years. Normal wear is present, including small marks and dirt. One door side at the back has minor damage to the material. Some pixel appears to have died on the trip meter. Controls and buttons appear to be in good condition.

Engine is described by the current owner as being in good condition given the mileage. Ongoing maintenance has been carried out and under the hood it looks relatively clean and tidy. Manifold is rusty but complete and functional. Pads and discs are described in OK condition and rear discs are new. Even underneath, the car has done well over the years, but there is rust on some replaceable parts. See service history for details.

The vehicle was serviced by the current owner for approx. 5.000 km ago. The engine has been regularly maintained and has received, among other things, a new clutch kit, slave cylinders and master cylinder. New oil, fuel and air filter are included with the car. There are plenty of previous receipts and documentation from previous years.
