Basic Information & Background
The Austin Mini is an icon in the automotive world and has defined how small cars have been designed over the years. The model has been several generations' choice of their first car and has a large following around the world of racing people, collectors and ordinary enthusiasts! This is a Swedish-sold car in good condition with a really nice red / white 2-tone paint and black interior. The car is also now both inspection and tax-exempt.
Equipment
The car is standard equipped with new black vinyl upholstery and newly painted 12" original wheels with red inserts. It also has a really cool and time-typical styling kit with black fender flares and side skirt details.
Condition
Exterior: Stylish and cool 2-tone paint in red / white with a little wear and patina. The roof and stripes on the hood were painted in 2021. The remaining body has been painted in various rounds and there are some minor superficial rust blemishes. The car has received new fenders and a-panels and in connection an overview / replacement of the floor was done.
All 4 original rims have been recently renovated
Interior. Recently renovated interior in black vinyl with new upholstery. Newly painted interior door cards and sills. There is also a nice dashboard in vinyl with original gauges.
Mechanically. The car runs and drives just as expected. Fresh tires are mounted on the original rims and it has also been overhauled in the engine with a new generator, ignition cables, electronic distributor and new sparkplugs. Odometer does not work and unclear function of the temperature gauge. The engine holds the temperature perfectly and performs very well with a fantastic road holding for which the model is known for!
Service history
Newly serviced 20/5/2022 with new oil in both engine and gearbox. Service book is not available but has been well maintained over the years. Tax and inspection exempt.
