Basic information and History

Alpina D3 from 2006, imported from Germany. The car came to Sweden in 2015 and has been running approx. 127790km. The vehicle has had a total of 8 users and was bought new by an elderly lady in Germany. A total of 614 5-door Alpina D3s of the E90 model were built and this is build number 215.

  • BMW's better relative, the Alpina D3 from 2006
  • Barely 127,990 km on the odometer
  • Well equipped example

The engine is a 2-liter diesel four and is derived from the BMW 123D but has received various refinements and upgrades. Approx. 200hp/410nm mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. Performance figures show a 0-100km/h sprint of approx. 7.4 seconds and a top speed of approx. 240km/h. Reasonable numbers for a diesel, especially given that consumption is stated at 0.45L/10km for the highway.

Equipment and Options

Well equipped with, among other things, sports seats in half leather, multifunction steering wheel, 2-zone ACC, PCD front and rear, multimedia system with navi and telephony, manual gearbox, coilovers, stainless system, cruise control and electric sunroof.

Condition

The car comes in a nice condition and free of damage and wear and tear. The car is also stainless and has not been driven in the winter by the current owner. As is normal with black paint, some washing scratches, minor stone chips and scratches are visible. Nothing requires action and is normal wear and tear for a used car. Previous parking damage has been taken care of by a professional company. Ceramic lacquer treatment has been applied. The car has received a set of aftermarket rims which are in very good condition. The fitted tires have rolled just under 1000km. The original rims for the car are no longer available.

The condition of the interior is normal used condition. Seating surfaces are in good condition. Usual wear from stepping in and out is extremely little, and only on the driver's seat. Surfaces around buttons have the normal and dull surface release that all E90s suffer from. Inner roof has some stains but sits nicely where it should. Normal wear on door sides. One of the moldings around the door is broken and missing some rubber.

The engine is described as being in good condition and has not been optimized. Clutch, gearbox and driveline are free of noise and strangeness. The brakes are described as being in good condition. The car has got a setup of coilovers and stainless system installed. Mechanically, everything works as it should.

Service history

The service book is filled out according to intervals. A/C got a new compressor and liquids approx. 1000km ago. Last inspection took place on 26.03.2024.

Summary

Nice and well-equipped Alpina D3 with low mileage and completed service book. Many specimens have gone far and this is an exception. At the time of writing, according to the data, there are 11 5-door D3s, so-called limousine in BMW parlance. Once you've driven an Alpina, it's difficult to go back to a BMW.
