Condition
Body and Exterior:
The car was resprayed in its original color in 2024 with a very high-quality finish. The front fenders were replaced, and a crack in the front bumper was repaired. During the repaint, additional surface damage was discovered and also fixed. A few small stone chips are present on the windshield. Chrome trim, moldings, light lenses, and emblems are in excellent condition.
Undercarriage and Rust Protection:
Two rust spots underneath the car have been professionally repaired. A cavity in a pressed section had been affected by rust and was replaced with new sheet metal – original sheet metal is no longer available, which is clearly shown in the photos. The rest of the floor is intact. The damage was caused by dirt and water accumulating over time. The repairs are carefully documented with current photos.
The car has never received any inspection remarks, and the work was done as a preventive measure. The exhaust system is rusty but has been partially repaired to preserve its original appearance.
Interior:
Very well-preserved with a slight fabric discoloration in the headliner upon close inspection. Some buttons (e.g., ACC panel and driver’s window controls) show slight wear on the rubber surface. The convertible top fabric is in excellent condition. The rear seat is reported to have been unused by the previous owner.
Wheels and Tires:
All tires are nearly new with 8 mm tread depth (manufactured week 3, 2022). The wheels show cosmetic wear on all four, as seen in the photos.
Mechanics and Functionality:
The engine runs very well and all electronics function correctly. Rear brakes and the left rear brake caliper were recently replaced. No known issues with the gearbox or drivetrain.
Service History
The car has a clear and well-documented service history. Up to 2021, it was serviced by an authorized SAAB workshop. Since then, the current owner has carried out two self-services, documented in the service book with photographs.
Latest service: March 2025 – oil change, all filters, and spark plugs
Latest approved inspection: 2024-05-15
