With the C215, Mercedes-Benz brought the coupé idea back to its roots: a pillarless two-door built on the S-Class platform, but with its own body and a technical arsenal that few competitors could match. The CL 55 AMG houses the supercharged M113 K, a 5.4-litre V8 with a Lysholm supercharger, around 500 horsepower and torque in the 700 Nm class delivered via the five-speed Speedshift automatic. Added to this is Active Body Control, the hydraulic suspension system that actively counteracts roll and pitch and which, even today, gives the car a driving character that no conventional air suspension quite manages to replicate.

This example is a 2004 CL 55 AMG imported from Germany and thus not originally sold in Sweden. The odometer reading is 150,000 km and the seller states that this can be guaranteed. The climate control works, but the seller notes that the actual temperature does not match what is shown on the display, and estimates that a sensor or similar likely needs to be replaced. Service history
