Mercedes-Benz E 320 T of model year 1994 belongs to the final development stages of the W124 series, here in T-Model form with the six-cylinder M104 and the well-known load-friendly practicality the estate version offers. The model combines solid construction, high long-distance comfort and balanced road manners. The E-Class designation was introduced on the W124 from 1993, which makes this model year one of the more updated within the series.

This is a Swedish-sold example with 300 000 km stated and guaranteed mileage. The car has had seven owners over the years and is said to be largely in original condition. According to the seller, a major refresh was carried out in 2024 focusing on bodywork, paint and chassis. 

As a curiosity, it may be noted that the estate version has self-levelling rear suspension, a solution that helps maintain load capacity and stability even under heavy load.

Interior: The interior, including the dashboard and headliner, is stated to be in excellent condition. The leather upholstery appears well preserved according to the seller.

Tyres and wheels: Condition assessed as excellent. Four new summer tyres come with the car. A set of winter wheels on original 15-inch rims with worn winter tyres is included.

Mechanicals and functions: The engine reportedly starts and runs flawlessly and the gearbox shifts correctly. The brakes are said to be in excellent condition. The climate control, trip meter, audio system, seat belts, exterior lighting and other electronics work. The instrument cluster is free of warning lights. However, the car is not drivable in its current condition due to a pronounced noise from the power steering pump caused by a worn bearing at the pulley. A new pump is said to cost under SEK 1,900 according to the seller.

Service history

There are no receipts or documentation substantiating the service history according to the seller. The most recent inspection was carried out on 16 August 2023.

At the time of purchase on 29 July 2024, the seller states that the following work had been carried out: body and paint refurbishment, installation of new headlights, Bilstein struts, new front control arms, all tie rods, new brakes, and replacement of links and joints around the rear axle. A new luggage compartment mat was installed in connection with this. The odometer reading of 300 000 km can be guaranteed according to the seller.
