Modifications and improvements

According to the seller, the car is built as a 944R by Lasse Jönsson with a lightweight focus and M030 chassis. The body was repainted in 2024 at Bilskadecenter in Bromma. In 2024, the rims were renovated by specialists Intera, coats of arms were replaced, new taillights from Porsche were installed, and the windshield was replaced. In the interior, the steering wheel, seats and gear lever were refreshed by Colorglo.

Condition

Body and exterior The paint is in very good condition after repainting. The seller states some minor scratches that are considered to be able to be polished away. The windshield is new and the other windows are original according to the seller. Emblems are in place, except for one that is incorrect for the model – there is a regular 944 badge where it should be 944R. The taillights are new 2024, Porsche original. Rubber strips at the entrance are missing on both sides.

Interior Very good for its age. Steering wheel, seats and gear lever are reconditioned by Colorglo. The dashboard has a minor crack. The headliner is in very good condition. Controls and buttons work as stated, some buttons show normal wear. The sunroof can sometimes get stuck. A aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth is installed together with uprated speakers. 

Tires and rims The tires are from 2022 and have rolled approximately 6000 kilometers. The rims were renovated in 2024 and equipped with new coats of arms.

Mechanics and function The engine is reported to be in good condition. The timing belt and water pump were replaced approximately 6000 km ago in connection with the 2024 service. The gearbox and driveline work as they should according to the seller. The brakes are in good condition but the handbrake needs an overhaul. Known functional complaints include a non-functioning front position light and a side indicator, the sunroof motor behaves intermittently and the driver's window crank can sometimes jam.

Service history

Last known service was performed in 2024. According to the seller, the timing belt and water pump were also replaced at that time, with a mileage of approximately 6000 km since then. There are receipts and documentation from 2024. Earlier documentation before 2024 is reportedly not available.
