Basic information and History

Here we have an unusual Daihatsu Charade Turbo of the second generation, this example was sold new in Sweden and was delivered to its first owner on November 24, 1986. The car has a lovely little 993cc three cylinder engine with Turbo. Thanks to a low weight of less than 800 kg, not much power is needed for the car to seem fun to drive. The output is 68 hp with a top speed of 165 km/h. This particular copy is a bit of a celebrity as it has just been featured in the April issue of the magazine Klassiker.

At the end of the 80s, the car was stolen and the insurance company Wasa/Göta at the time paid for the car. After it was found, the car was sold internally to the employees. Everything is documented as a purchase agreement and associated car sheet from the insurance company.
