1985 Lincoln Continental "Valentino Designer Series" – a rare and stately example from the absolute glory days of the American automotive industry! For those who dream of owning a classic luxury car from the 80s, this is an opportunity beyond the ordinary. The model combines a powerful V8 engine, lavish luxury and unique "Valentino Designer Series" design – a real collector's item for enthusiasts of American car design and classic V8s.
This example was originally delivered new to Florida, USA, and then had a stopover in the UK before finally being imported and registered in Sweden in 2014. Since then, it has been lovingly cared for, mostly used as a summer car, and is also unusually well documented with receipts and service history.
It only has 98,000 kilometers on the odometer (about 61,000 miles), has had three owners , and is equipped with the powerful 302 cubic inch (5.0L) V8 engine (140 hp/103 kW) combined with a classic automatic transmission. Here you get a straight, comfortable glider with exclusive upholstery, genuine two-tone original paint and blue leather interior - plus all the little extras from the Valentino design package.
A very affordable entry into the world of American premium cars, perfect for both the seasoned collector and the curious enthusiast. An ideal item for those who appreciate personality, originality and modern retro style.

The main body is straight and in good condition, however there is a small dent on the right front fender. The chrome, moldings and emblems are in good condition, and the windows are intact without stone chips. The lower part is covered in red vinyl wrap (original color is dark blue) and the undercarriage is good, only minor surface rust in some places.
Interior:
The entire interior is original and very well preserved, with clean and elegant leather upholstery. The controls and buttons are in good condition while the steering wheel has some wear. The roof is in good condition and the electric sunroof works perfectly.
Tires & rims:
Rims in good condition, front tire tread depth 3 mm and rear tire 8 mm. Please note that the tires are older and may need to be replaced if you want to drive a lot.
Mechanics & function:
The V8 engine runs smoothly and nicely; the idle is a bit rough the first few minutes on a cold start but stabilizes quickly. The gearbox and drivetrain work well without any noise. The brakes have received a lot of love, see above for replacements. No warning lights are on. The only electronic note: the AC is not working.
Service history

Receipts are available for all major repairs and maintenance performed between 2014–2024, including replacement of suspension, belts, water pump, brake parts, etc. The last documented service was performed at Sörskogens Bilservice on 2017-06-20.
