Basic information and history

The Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 4.5 belongs to the W108 generation and was a US-oriented version that combined the classic S-Class proportions with a 4.5-liter V8 and early electronic fuel injection. 1972 was the last model year for the 280 SE 4.5, making these cars rare and sought after among enthusiasts who appreciate the combination of the older chassis geometry, disc brakes all around and the smooth V8 character.

This example was sold new in Las Vegas in 1972 and imported from the USA in 2018. The odometer reading is stated by the seller to be 74,080 miles (119,270 km). According to the seller, the paintwork has been refinished previously, but the type and extent are unclear.

The information in this listing is provided by the seller and has not been verified by Bidders Highway. Buyers are encouraged to verify the information and review the images themselves.
