The engine is the classic aircooled VW boxer engine with fuel injection which with its 1600cc delivers 47 perky horsepower. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a manual gearbox with floor-mounted stick.

This model was manufactured in Germany until 1979. The T2 model continued to be manufactured in Brazil until 2013, when production ceased completely after almost 70 years. This little bus is a 1999, hence it is imported from Brazil where it has been used very sparingly in Belo Horizonte. It is clear that the previous owner has carefully taken care of his unusually fine specimen, which can be seen both on the well-preserved paint and the newly apointed interior.

The freshley chromed handles, windscreen wipers and headlights give a nice retro feel to this classic. A fantastic example that attracts the eyes of both young and old. This bus has just had a prominent role in one of the world's largest clothing brands' latest advertising campaign world wide, their latest collection with a bit of a hippie / retro look.

Equipment specification
Stereo Pioneer SPH-10BT, the installation is made by a professional sound company where the rear speaker box is also built. The stereo can be used with your mobile phone for both streaming music or taking calls. This system is new and has only been tested for a few hours.
During the installation, the focus has been on maintaining the right retro feel, which means that everything is discreet and blends in very well.

New beige leather upholstery for all 8 passengers including new seatbelts.

Summer tires on 14 ”standard rims with new chromed hubcaps.

Condition
On the outside, the car is in very good condition, the paint has held up well. Professional polishing was recently performed.

The car is equipped with leather seats and registered for 8 passengers. Upholstery and furnishings in very good condition and tailored only a few years ago. Pioneer stereo with good front and rear speakers professionally mounted in a speaker box. The seat belts are brand new

The engine is just recently serviced and carefully reviewed in detail, fine condition and runs very well. Brakes and suspension are reviewed and in good condition. New valve cover gaskets and the valves are adjusted. The engine is completely cleaned inside, all deposits removed. Brand new catalytic converter, the electronics in the engine have been reviewed and the sensors have been replaced.
