The Honda CBX was produced between 1978 and 1982 and comes with a fantastic 1047cc straight six cylinder engine. Honda's straight six was used already in the 60s in racing and the CBX is the first model for road use to get a similar engine. The model was Honda's flagship during that time. The engine produces approx. 105hp/80nm and has a top speed of approx. 220km/h. In February 1978, motorcycle journalist Cook Neilson wrote in Cycle magazine that the Honda was as responsive as a race bike and one of the absolute best motorcycles on the road. Another magazine claimed the bike was "the 1979 version of a Vincent Black Shadow", and named the Honda one of their absolute best motorcycles ever. This copy in its fantastic condition was sold new by Jardenbergs, Malmö, Sweden. The bicycle has also been exhibited in museums and, among other things, the Elmia fair.

The motorcycle is described by the current collector as being in fantastic condition. The bike was renovated by Mika Gran, recognized restorer of CBXs, who later sold it on to a Mercedes-Benz Sweden manager. The paintwork is of course in good condition, as are the chrome, moldings and emblems. The remark we can make is a small mark on one cover. No leaks have been noted. Instruments and panels are in good condition. Mechanically and electrically there are no remarks. A well-maintained example of Honda's legendary CBX that can be classified as one of Sweden's finest CBXs. The odometer reads 30,795 km and the mileage should be correct according to the owner.

The motorcycle is consistently well maintained and previous service records are available.
