Basic information and history
The BMW E36 Super Touring is one of the most iconic racing cars from the golden age of touring cars. This example, BMW Supertouring No. 63 , was originally built by Racing Dynamic Sports in Italy in 1993, and is classified as a genuine BMW Super Touring – chassis number E36/A063 93. The model distinguished itself early on in international racing and with this chassis ties it to the absolute elite of the championships.
The car was imported from Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2009. An interesting curiosity is that the car, according to documentation and the Supertouring register, is visible in pictures and with results from the race of the period – with strong indications that Sweden's own Peggen Andersson may have driven this or its sister car at, among other things, the World Race Super Touring at Monza in 1994–95. All documentation is included and the car has been restored according to photos from 1996.
The odometer reading is new ( 0 km after complete renovation), and can be guaranteed with certainty. A unique opportunity for collectors and racing enthusiasts to acquire a genuine, full-spec FIA-documented racing example.
