The paint has been resprayed in the original color by professionals at ARTON CAR. Chrome, emblems, trims, and lenses are all in excellent condition. The glass is original, with normal patina and minor scraper marks, but no cracks or discoloration.

Interior:

The interior is new and in excellent condition, restored by Alpha Bilklädsel in Stockholm. The only minor flaw is a 3 cm scratch behind the passenger seat under the rear window. The headliner is new. Steering wheel, controls, and knobs are original and in very good condition.

Wheels and Tires:

Restored original wheels fitted with new tires, ready for immediate use.

Mechanics and Function:

The engine has been completely rebuilt to original specification and runs perfectly. Gearbox and drivetrain have been refurbished and operate smoothly without noise. The braking system has been overhauled with new parts where needed and works flawlessly. All mechanics, electrical systems, and functions are in excellent condition – the car is tax-exempt, inspected, and fully roadworthy.

Service History

Extensive documentation of the restoration is available, including invoices, photos, and six CDs with photographic records. Inspection protocols are available from 1973 onwards.

The latest known inspection was in 2018, without remarks. The original instruction manual is included. All essential maintenance and service have been carried out during the comprehensive restoration – this PV 544 is considered fully refurbished and ready to use.
