What does the Function-tested label mean on a listing?

Function-tested means the seller has personally tested the specific functions listed for that item and certified the status of each (e.g., works / does not work). It is a basic function check intended to provide a quick snapshot - it is not a professional inspection or a guarantee.

Important: The test is not performed by Bidders Highway. The information is self-reported by the seller and published in the auction to increase transparency.

Typical items (examples):

  • Roadworthy (can be driven)
  • Valid inspection (besiktning)
  • AC
  • Trip meter
  • Media
  • Electrical functions
  • Instrument cluster
  • Seat belts
  • Lighting
  • Engine
  • Brakes
  • Clutch

Status icons in the list: ✔︎ = works, ✖︎ = does not work.

Scope and limitations:

  • Applies only to the functions listed for the item.
  • Does not predict future failures or cover latent defects and does not replace a professional inspection or diagnostics.
  • Buyers should review the description, photos and videos, ask questions as needed, and for high-value transactions consider Secure payment (Swiftcourt/escrow) for extra peace of mind.
