Indian
Indian is one of America's oldest motorcycle marques, and Bidders Highway is where you will find an Indian for sale or can consign your own to auction. Built in Springfield, Massachusetts from the early 1900s until 1953, the name has been revived several times since, most recently under Polaris, which has returned it to a firm place among American cruisers.

Collectors reserve their strongest interest for the Chief, particularly the postwar bikes with their deeply valanced fenders. The Scout holds a following of its own thanks to its lighter build and competition record, Burt Munro's Bonneville runs being the best known chapter. The four-cylinder Indian Four remains among the most sought after of all. Of the modern machines, the Scout from the 2010s onwards turns up most often on the used market, alongside the Chief, Chieftain and FTR.
