BSA is one of the best-known names in British motorcycling, and at Bidders Highway you can find a BSA for sale at auction or consign one of your own. Birmingham Small Arms built its machines at Small Heath in Birmingham and was among the largest manufacturers in the world in the years after the Second World War.

Enthusiasts value the marque for sturdy four-stroke singles and parallel twins, bikes meant to be ridden hard and looked after in your own garage. The side-valve M20 served the British Army in large numbers during the war, while the 500 and 650 twins of the fifties and sixties — the A7, the A10 Golden Flash and later the A65 — are the models most often seen in collector circles. The Gold Star remains the most sought-after of all, and among the singles the B44 Victor and competition specials on Cheney frames have a following of their own. Production ended in the mid-seventies.
