One of the most classic post-war cars from BMW – the elegant BMW 501/8 Baroque Angel with a 2.6 liter V8 of about 100 hp.
The car was bought new in the summer of 1956 in Munich by a Finnish gentleman from Tornio, and then remained in the same family for three generations. This means that it has an unusually clear and well-preserved history. The renovation work is extensive and of very high quality. The hand-sewn fabric interior is beautiful and typical of the period, the paintwork is done in a slightly lighter red than the original and has a very nice finish without any runny or orange effect.
Underneath, the car is just as impressive – like new. All the chrome is in excellent condition, as are the wheels and rims.
The car is also equipped with a period Becker Mexico radio with automatic channel search, complete with original documentation.
