Basic information and history

Fantastically sweet Subaru 360 Deluxe from 1968. The car is a so-called "Keijidōsha", or Kei-car as it is called in English, from Japan. Kei-car is a segment of cars with small three-cylinder (or two) engines and minimal external dimensions, but always with a relatively large interior. The segment is designed to take up as little space as possible in the crowded big city. The model was built between the years 1958 to 1971 and a total of approx. 392,000 copies. Approx. 10,000 of these are LHD. Odometer reading is 24,564 km and the seller cannot guarantee the odometer reading as it also comes with a miles meter from the original.

Equipped with a 2-stroke 356cc 2-cylinder engine of approx. 24hp, connected to a 3-speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive.

4. The parasol is not original but comes with it. Should have a fiberglass roof that the seller chose not to restore as the car is only used on nice sunny occasions.

Condition

The entire body and chassis are restored and in very good condition, the engine has been run by the seller. Engine starts and runs perfectly. The entire car has been painted in a Porsche color which is very close to the original color in tone. The rear-view mirrors have not been refurbished and are speckled in the chrome. The tires are new and have a tread depth of approx. 10mm.

There is no previous service history. But the seller has gone through the entire machine and certifies that it is in good condition.
