1990 Porsche 944 Turbo

Bowser
Stockholm

Basic information and History

Porsche 944 Turbo from 1990 which was imported from Switzerland already in 1997. The car has today traveled 197080 km and the meter reading can be guaranteed by the owner. In Switzerland the car was owned by a bank director and in Sweden it has had 3 elderly men as users. The last owner had the car tucked away in a warm garage without windows for 24 years and has driven less than 600 miles in that time. This is the copy for those looking for a 944 Turbo with full documentation, few owners and an exquisite condition!

  • Porsche 944 Turbo from 2001 with few owners and 197080km on the odometer
  • Equipped with genuine Cup rims and adjustable dampers from the factory

The Porsche comes with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four of approx. 250hp/350nm coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. Performance figures offer 0-100km/h in under 6 seconds and a top speed of 260km/h!

Equipment and Options

In addition to genuine Cup rims and adjustable OEM dampers from the factory, the car also has all the equipment that the Turbo S version (which in this year of manufacture is simply called Turbo) came with, including a removable sunroof. The wing that is fitted is also an original option from Porsche!

Condition

The general condition of the bodywork is described as incredibly good. There are various filled-in scratches on the left rear fender as well as a normal amount of stone chips on the front and rear-view mirrors, but otherwise nothing to comment on. The car is otherwise described as rust-free and considering the car's 34 years on the neck, the condition is very nice. However, the end tip of the exhaust system is rusty and the windshield has a crack in it. The cup rims are in very good condition with no damage. The tread depth is good but the tires are old. Please look through our photos to see our notes and to form an idea of the condition. Questions can most easily be asked directly in the question field and answered by the owner.

The interior is described as being in extremely good condition with only minor small marks on the driver's seat and some scuffing on the leather on the gear lever. Instrument panel, buttons, steering wheel, controls are all in very good condition. The fabric with the Porsche logo and the leather on the seats are also in very good condition. The fabric in the back seat has some dirt embedded in it but can be as nice as anything else after a wash! Interior ceiling in perfect condition that sits where it should. All electronics and functions in the passenger compartment work as intended.

Engine is described as being in mint condition and has not been modified. Brakes are in good condition with pads in new condition. Driveline and gearbox in excellent condition.

Service history

The car comes with a fully completed service book and has been very well looked after over the years. Clutch was changed for approx. 7000km ago. The box was used in the 90s and feels like new. At the beginning of April, the car was serviced with, among other things, oil and all filters, timing belts, idlers, tensioners and balance belts. All service records and a large amount of other documentation are available from when the car was new!

Summary

An absolutely superb example of the Porsche 944 Turbo, the car that was too fast for Porsche themselves. This is the car for you who want to drive a front-engine Porsche and are looking for a well-documented, well-maintained car in extremely good condition!
