Basic information and history
Experience something completely unique at Bidders Highway – a motor scooter out of the ordinary, built as a rolling work of art by the art blacksmith Lars Mattsson from Norduppland! This motor scooter is the result of many years of passionate craftsmanship where both wood and metal have been refined to perfection. If you are looking for a talking point for your collection or want to own a functional utility and racing machine that attracts attention wherever you show it – then this is the vehicle for you.
This example is completely hand-built by only one previous user – the creator himself. The oaks in the frame were felled, dried and meticulously processed into beautiful and durable details, varnished in several layers of marine varnish. All metalwork is forged by hand: from the stainless steel brackets to the frame and engine suspension. Please note all the ingenious solutions – such as the suspension made of Volvo B18 valve springs and inline wheel mounts for summer use.
It is a functional and unique racing machine – fully drivable and tested on both ice and asphalt. It has only been driven 7–8 hours after engine renovation and the odometer is at zero. A memorable curiosity is the participation in the Orsa speed weekend 2013 (number plate included), and that the entire passionate manufacturing process can be reported to the buyer.
The motor park is stored indoors, has been inherited in the family and is now being sold to someone who appreciates solid Swedish craftsmanship and genuine provenance .

Modifications and improvements: All details are hand-designed and made by the blacksmith himself. Note in particular the special solutions for inline wheels, suspension with Volvo B18 valve springs, and deadman's grip for extra safety. The engine is completely renovated with all wear parts replaced.
Condition
Body and exterior condition: The woodwork is beautifully preserved, varnished in several layers, giving it a fantastic shine. The metal parts are painted in British racing green and all chrome and shiny parts and headlight lenses are in flawless condition.
Interior: Since this is a motor scooter, it is a traditional scooter design – all controls, knobs and details are in like-new condition , without any damage or scratches.
Tires and rims: Fine condition, with tires in very good condition including included studded tires for winter driving and brackets for inline wheels.
Mechanics and function: The engine is completely newly renovated with everything from bearings to ignition parts replaced, and has only been running for 7–8 hours. The brake system consists of a traditional foot brake in the classic kick style. The gearbox and drivetrain are fully functional and in very good condition. All electronics, lighting and special functions work perfectly.
Service history
Throughout its construction and use, the engine has always been stored indoors and taken care of with the greatest care. The last service was carried out last summer when the petrol and oil were changed and a test drive was carried out. The engine has not been driven since then, but the engine has been kept dry and protected.
There is a good documented history – the entire manufacturing process has been closely followed and can be explained in detail to the new owner. No regular inspection is required for this type of vehicle, but a safety inspection from Orsa speedweekend is included.
