This fantastic Monark moped from 1959 is one of the three-wheelers from a collection Bidders Highway has the honour to auction. It comes in a nice used condition and with the unusual 3-speed gearbox!

Monark manufactured its flatbed mopeds, or so-called chassis mopeds, between 1950 and 1970. The heyday was in the 60s, when the agile moped was used by everything from private individuals, municipalities to craftsmen and above all sprinters. This copy was bought new by a family in Dalsjöfors outside Borås who continued to own it for several years. The moped was ordered with a three-speed JLO, which was unusual as most were two-speed.
Condition
The moped is described as being in good used condition with a patina and overall the moped looks nice. Patina from the years means that the feeling around the moped only gets better.
